CD-i hilarity aside, this mod looks awesome!

I think unsettling is the perfect word for it. It's not scary and it's not exactly creepy, it all just feels "off." As Stephen said, that effect is even more dramatic when you've played OOT and everything that was warm and familiar kind of just becomes twisted.
