Yet another Atlus release that I'll have to import or miss out on completely, sigh. I wish it was on PSP just so I could get it off the PSN with zero fuss. Read more

@Paradox me: I don't mind as long as the story gets moved forward. When you get weird lateral or ancillary stuff like 358/2 days and Dirge of Cerberus I tend to skip. Read more

@Cpryd001: If your friends are at one end of the spectrum, it kinda sounds like you're at the other end, with the "any invasion of privacy is the beginning of a slippery slope!". Read more

@Amazing_Spiderham: It sold 3000 in its opening week, haha. Three thousand people who must be feeling pretty silly right about now. Read more

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Eureka 7 is my favourite anime ever so props to you, but it's pretty big on the romance so not sure if it'll be the OP's cup of tea. Read more

@Kraps: Depends on the kind of gamer you are. If in the second playthrough you retain some aspect of your older save - levels or equipment - it can be fun storming through the game and seeing the other story paths. Read more

@Covenant: Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Last Exile, Samurai Champloo. All incredible, with great music to boot. Read more

PSP outsold DS but Nintendo outsold Sony. Tactics Ogre probably played a big part in that, I guess. Read more

@TidalC: 9 is a great game, it has a lot of the feel of the older FFs with bags of charm and loads of variety. Chocobo Hot n Cold is probably the best mini-game ever. Read more

@ak-blanc: Oh sure, I agree with all that. I'm just saying that I don't believe that reading is an effective example. Reading to excess hasn't been feasible since the invention of television and the internet :P Read more

@TidalC: I beat XIII twice and got the platinum trophy so let's not make assumptions. Read more

@TidalC: FF13 has no backtracking allowed, and no sidequests to do. It is linear in all possible meanings of the word, rather than just "where do I go next". Read more

@ak-blanc: Speaking as an avid reader, I really don't think books can be used like that. Read more

@ak-blanc: Heh yeah, I can see all of those games being a major issue. Impressed that WoW is so low, though that makes sense as plenty of girls can enjoy the setting and that type of game. Read more

@Nightshift Nurse: It's part of the annoyingly self-focused nature of video games journalism, which helps create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Read more

@Arronwy: Actually yeah, I remember hearing Jeremy Parish say as much on a podcast. It makes its way into FF:T as well apparently. Read more

@Misha Uchiha: Order a US psn card from a site, get sent the code in the email, enjoy P3P for a mere $20. Read more

@Gambit09: S'the western subtitle, because I guess we don't get Tarot symbolism or whatever. Read more

@mark.p0rter: I've bought like 5 PSP games this year, compared to 3 PS3 games and 2 DS games. That's not even including PSN classics! Hell of a console, really growing on me. Read more

@MathIsHard: The Witcher has a great world, lots of freedom, multiple solutions to quests and a branching story based on decisions you make. Read more
