@InAnimateAlpha: Have Fang/Sazh/Snow as party leader and don't bother switching to Sentinel unless Attacus is targeting them specifically. Start off with Com/Rav/RAv, switch Hope or Vanille to a medic once he pulls out his second sword. Read more

@Pixel Breaker: It occurs to me that Nintendo have a massive upper hand in terms of 1st party titles. Sony have Nate Drake and Killzone (Jak? Crash? Spyro? None of them have really stuck). Microsoft of course have the juggernaut Halo brand, but that's pretty much it. Read more
