One of the few Guns N' Roses songs I actually enjoy. Not bad. Could be a lot worse considering some of the pop music disasters that came out of the 80s.

There have been a few Crystal Chronicles games on the Wii. I'll admit though, I never followed the Crystal Chronicles series very closely. I know two of the Wii titles are WiiWare games that are a very different style of game (although I did play My Life as a King and found it rather enjoyable). There is also Echoes Read more

I played ME 1 and 2 on pc but was planning on buying 3 for PS3 because I honestly don't want to use Origin. I guess if I want my Shephard(s) in ME3 I'll have to buy a copy of ME2 on PS3 and replay it, twice to get both of my character's ready. Read more

Replaying Mass Effect 2. This will be the first time I've ever played through either game as a female so I guess it's time to see what all the fuss over "Femshep" is about. I might get in some Tactics Ogre: LUCT as well, I've been meaning to start that for a while now. Read more

If you're unfamiliar with the creepers, then the joke would be a bit lost on you. They appear pretty much out of nowhere when you least expect it and explode. Still, I would agree that it's not overly funny or creative. Read more

I always thought the weeping angels would make a good enemy in a game. Never really thought about the fact that they are essentially Boos from Mario though. Having something like this in Minecraft is interesting, but I'd really like to see a similar creature appear in Dark Souls.

The PS3 supports any old bluetooth headset you might have available. However I'm fairly certain the 360 doesn't support bluetooth at all. It just so happens that Major Nelson posted this on his blog this morning though, which has bluetooth and the Xbox wireless interface. Not available until November though. Read more

I agree, I hate that $60 has become the industry standard price. Every once in a while you'll see a game that launches for $40, but those are few and far between. I think there are a lot of games that people would have been more willing to pick up at launch if they'd sold for that price instead of $60. Read more

I played the demo and for me it's just not worth full price. There's a good chance I might pick it up one day after the price has dropped a bit. I'm interested in the story and I like the art style, but the gameplay just isn't something I would drop $60 bucks on. Read more

I didn't realize the price had dropped so much. I guess it might be worth a shot after all then. Thanks for the tip. Read more

I had a hard time staying focused when playing 4 but I should probably give another shot. Read more

4 and 5 feature a completely different camera and control system from the older games. Read more

Oh well, thanks for checking. That's the only FF game I haven't played. Sorry Square, no trial = no customer. Read more

My understanding was that they haven't been charging the subscription fee, but you're required to purchase the game. Which is great for those who've bought the game. But when every other MMO on the market does a free trail to let you decide whether or not you want to buy the game, its a big turnoff when Square Read more

Sept. 15, 2011? Gonna have to go with "no" on that one. Read more

I really want to give FF14 a shot so I can form my own opinion of it, but I can't justify purchasing it when most MMOs offer free trials. I've been disappointed before after buying MMOs without trials and I'd rather not repeat the experience. Read more

Uncharted 2 is one of the few games that never begins to get old to me, no matter how much I play it. I'd say hopefully 3 turns out just as good, but I'm fairly certain Naughty Dog will exceed my expectations. Read more

A buddy of mine used their song "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" as his ringtone when that album came out and while I liked the song at first, it grew annoying over time. On my last day of high school, the last day of his junior year, he drowned. Now whenever I hear it I can't help but turn it up and think of him.

I'm finally getting around to playing through Dragon Quest VIII after owning a copy for several years. I've started it several times but never played past an hour or so. Somehow this time I'm loving it and can't seem to turn it off. Now I'm wishing I hadn't sold my DS so I could pick up DQ9 when I'm finished. Read more
