The Apple Watch Series 11 42mm GPS is the smaller, more wrist-friendly version of Apple’s mid-tier smartwatch, the option for users who don’t want a larger 46mm case taking up wrist real estate or who simply prefer a more compact design. The aluminum case is made from 100% recycled material, with a new ion-X front crystal that’s 4x more crack-resistant than the previous Apple Watch generation. The display stays dimmed when your wrist is lowered, rather than turning off the way older Apple Watches did. Peak brightness reaches 3,000 nits in direct sunlight, and the slimmer bezels around the LTPO 2 display deliver more usable screen area than the equivalent 41mm Series 10, which the 42mm replaces.

You can pick up the 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 11 for $299 on Amazon, which is $100 below the $399 price. That works out to roughly 25% in savings.

A reliable smartwatch that’s perfect for regular iOS users

Hypertension notifications are one of the new health features introduced by Apple with the release of the Watch Series 11. The Optical Heart Rate Sensor located on the rear of the watch tracks subtle vascular response patterns over a rolling thirty-day window. If the collected data indicates blood pressure trends associated with Hypertension, the watch will send a notification.

The 42 mm Series 11 can last up to 24 hours when used normally or up to 36 hours with low power mode enabled. The fast charger that comes with it lets you charge your battery from 0% to 80% in about 30 minutes. So, just a brief pause at the charger at home, and you’ll have enough juice to keep the watch running all day.

Sleep tracking on the Series 11 is the most complete Apple has shipped on any watch. Sleep apnea notifications run in the background, using the accelerometer to monitor body movement related to breathing. After about 30 nights of data, the watch sends an alert if patterns suggest moderate to severe sleep apnea. The wrist temperature sensor takes overnight baseline readings that contribute to the cycle tracking system and the new daily sleep score.

The GPS model handles location for outdoor workouts, navigation, and Find My via the iPhone-paired GPS chip on the watch. You don’t get the cellular capability of the more expensive variant, but for users who carry an iPhone everywhere anyway, GPS-only is the more economical choice without sacrificing the watch’s core fitness and health functions.

At $299 on Amazon, the 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 11 is $100 below the $399 price. The savings make Apple’s mid-tier smartwatch more accessible for smaller wrists, with all the Series 11 health features and a longer battery built in at the lower entry point in the lineup.
