The Apple Watch Series 11 is a 42mm smartwatch in jet black aluminum with a black sport band in size S/M. Battery life is up to 24 hours of normal use, so it can stay on your wrist through a full day and then overnight for sleep tracking. The always-on Retina display reaches 2,000 nits at its brightest. Ion-X glass over the front is twice as scratch-resistant as the glass Apple used before. Hypertension notifications and Sleep Score are the two health features Apple added this year.
Head over to Amazon to get the Apple Watch Series 11 for just $299, down from its usual price of $399. That’s a $100 discount and 25% off.
Apple’s capable smartwatch with a wide range of useful features and options
Apple designed the Series 11 to be much more focused on monitoring health. The optical heart rate monitor is used for many different types of heart-related issues, such as heart rates that may be too low or too high and irregular heartbeat notifications. Using your finger on the crown, an electrocardiogram can be taken in approximately 30 seconds. In addition to heart-related data collection, blood oxygen levels, wrist temperature, and cycle tracking have also been included. Also new to the Series 11 are hypertension notifications and Sleep Score, which use previously collected data from the watch itself to determine if you need to take action.
Sleep Score grades each night and shows you the math behind the number. Duration, bedtime consistency, how often you woke up, and time in each sleep stage all feed into it. Sleep apnea notifications are here too, watching for repeated interruptions in your breathing overnight. Any of this only works if you wear the watch to bed, and the longer battery is what makes doing that realistic.
Twenty-four hours of normal use is the rating on a full charge, and Low Power Mode extends that to 38 hours. Fast charging fills the watch to 80% in about half an hour. Fifteen minutes on the charger buys you eight hours of normal use, and five minutes covers a night of sleep tracking. Topping it off while you shower is enough to keep it on your wrist around the clock.
Pacer, Heart Rate Zones, and training load are in the workout app, along with Workout Buddy, which pulls from Apple Intelligence on a nearby iPhone to give you audio coaching mid-run. Fall detection and Crash Detection can connect you to emergency services and alert your contacts without you doing anything. Check In notifies someone you picked when you arrive where you said you were going.
At $299, down from $399, this is the 42mm GPS version in aluminum with the sport band included. If you want hypertension screening on your wrist, a sleep report that explains how it reached its conclusion, or a watch you don’t have to charge before bed every night, the Series 11 handles all of it. You will need an iPhone 11 or newer on iOS 26 to set it up.
