When you pick up the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, one of the first things you notice is how thin it is. This tablet is 6.6mm thick and weighs about 1.15 pounds, so it fits easily into a backpack without weighing you down. Despite its lightweight design, it offers a 10.9-inch display with a very vivid, detailed image and a 90Hz refresh rate. So, when you scroll through items or swipe through apps, they remain extremely fluid. It also comes with an S Pen stylus, which you can use to write or draw with excellent accuracy.
A versatile tablet with a stylus and lengthy battery life
The S-Pen offers a very responsive writing experience and connects to many of the built-in AI functions. In Samsung Notes, there is Handwriting help, which cleans up sloppy handwriting by making straight lines and correcting letters. There is also a Math solver app that lets you write math problems by hand and get your answer. On the photography end, Object Eraser lets you outline items you don’t want in an image, and AI will eliminate them. Additionally, Circle to Search lets you draw a circle on your screen to search for that item using most other apps, without opening a browser.
Vision Booster adjusts screen brightness based on your surroundings, helping keep things readable in different lighting conditions. It also reduces blue light to cut down on eye strain during longer sessions. The Armor Aluminum body gives the tablet a solid feel without weighing it down, and it comes in three colors: Gray, Silver, and Coral Red.
Battery life reaches up to 16 hours of video playback on a single charge from the 8,000mAh cell inside. When you need to recharge, Super Fast Charging replenishes it in about 2 hours. The 45W wall charger required for that speed is sold separately, but a USB-C cable comes in the box.
Samsung will be supporting this tablet by providing up to seven major releases of Android Operating System (OS) upgrades and seven years of security updates. Providing such extensive long-term support keeps the tablet updated and relevant far beyond the point at which most tablets are abandoned by their manufacturers. In addition to receiving extended support from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite also integrates seamlessly with other Galaxy products, allowing you to make or receive calls on your tablet, transfer files via Quick Share, and resume an activity you were in the middle of on your smartphone.
At $300, the Tab S10 Lite comes in $50 under its $350 list price with the S Pen included, a long-lasting battery, and AI features that add genuine usefulness to note-taking and photo editing. It’s a well-rounded tablet for the price, especially with years of software support still ahead.
