Kindles make it easy to take your entire reading library – with your all-time favorites and a bunch of new options – wherever you go. There are quite a few models around, most of which are seeing some impressive price cuts during this Amazon Prime Day.
Right now, the 2024 Amazon Kindle Colorsoft 16 GB is sitting at $190 on Amazon, which is 34% less than its usual $290 price. You save $100 and will also enjoy free shipping, so there are no other major costs to cover here.
Keep all your favorite titles close
This Kindle Colorsoft comes with a modest-sized 7-inch display. The screen isn’t too big, so it won’t feel like you’re holding a tablet in your hand. In fact, it’s almost the size of a standard paperback book, so you can comfortably hold it in your hand and bring it along pretty much anywhere.
It’s optimized for reading in color, so all the illustrations and maps in books are going to be a lot more enjoyable than the standard black-and-white versions. You can also highlight passages in different colors (yellow, orange, blue, and pink), which just makes it easy to come back to the lines/dialogs you like. And because you can choose between colors, you can even use a different one for each category. For example, you can highlight quotes in pink, new words in yellow, and so on.
The screen is designed to be easy on your eyes. Brightness is adjustable, so you can tweak it according to your environment with ease. In addition to that, you can enable the dedicated Dark Mode in low-light conditions, which turns the backgrounds black and the text white across the device.
One full charge can keep the Kindle going for up to 8 weeks – that’s two whole months of reading without reaching out for your charger! To get started, you’ll need to create an Amazon account (free) to register your Kindle and buying/downloading e-books from the Kindle Store. There are thousands of free options to choose from, but if you’d like access to a bigger library (with over four million titles, thousands of audiobooks, magazines), you can sign up for Kindle Unlimited.
The 2024 Amazon Kindle Colorsoft 16 GB is now available for only $190 at Amazon, thanks to a 34% discount. Delivery is included, and you can save another 20% on your purchase by trading in an older device. Just be sure to act fast, as the deal could expire soon.
