While a lot of us are still getting through Resident Evil Requiem, it’s a good chance to get into some of the older Resident Evil games, especially if you missed out on them the first time around… or the remasters. If you’re hoping to do just that, then today could be your best chance to do so on PS5, because Amazon Gaming Week is in full swing, and it’s knocked a bunch of games down to amazing prices.
Resident Evil 2, Resident 3, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition are all down to $16 apiece right now, with most being up to 47% off. These games offer plenty of game time and some of the most impressive graphics going, so picking them up at this price is absurdly good. Frankly, that’s an absurdly good deal for such fantastic games, which means it’s probably not going to stick around for long.
Fight Back The Horrors
Each of these games has had incredibly positive critical reception, and each one offers a different story you can enjoy. Resident Evil 2 has Leon’s first outing in Raccoon City, and was one of the first really impressive remakes in this long-running series. Resident Evil 3 is also in Raccoon City, but is all about Jill Valentine and the unsettling Nemesis. This one has an entertaining multiplayer mode as well, which is a nice bonus.
Resident Evil 4 is widely considered as one of the best survival horror games ever made, and marks the last time before the reinvention of the series that it stayed true to its horror roots. There’ll be no punching boulders in this one, just barely scraping by in every single encounter. Finally, you’ve got Resident Evil 7, which marked a big shift back to what the series was, and how survival horror could be in the modern-age. It shows off Ethan Winters and his descent into the horrors of the Baker family, and the horrifying creatures they become, and sets the stage for Resident Evil 8 perfectly. If you’re only going to get one of these games, this one is likely the best possible chance to do so at this price.
While it’s possible these deals do stick around throughout Amazon Gaming Week, it’s not a guarantee. So, if you’re looking to make sure you can get these amazing games while they’re down to just $16 each, we recommend you buy them as soon as you can. Who knows when they’ll go on sale again, and it’s highly-unlikely they’ll be back down at this price any time soon.
