The latest Echo from Amazon is the Echo Spot, which is essentially a sleek Alexa-enabled alarm clock with smart features and and built-in speaker and microphone. It kind of exists and an in-between of the Echo Dot and the Echo Show. It’s small and unobtrusive like the Echo Dot, but features a digital display. It’s not a full-on screen like you’d find on the Echo Show in which you can watch videos or flip through photos, but you’ll still be able to view helpful information at a glance.

Set Echo Spot to showcase the date, time, and weather for your convenience. You can have it so reminders and other updates from your calendar display for you at the start of your day. While listening to music, the Echo Spot can display the song title, artist, album name, and even the album art. I know I’ve been known to on occasion interrupt my Echo Dot so I can ask Alexa the name of the song that’s playing so this will do wonders for people like me.
Even though its stature is small, this speaker packed into the Echo Spot can produce powerfully rich sound with a deep bass. You music, podcasts, and audiobooks will all come through with vocals that are crystal clear.
