The GEEKOM Air12 Mini PC is a compact Windows 11 Pro desktop that takes up about the same amount of countertop space as a hardcover book, powered by an Intel N100 processor with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. Triple 4K display support drives a home office monitor setup or a media station connected to a living room TV. Ports on the front and back include six USB, HDMI 2.0, Mini DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, and an SD card reader. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 come standard.
A compact PC perfect for improving and expanding your home office or game station
The Air12 measures 4.6 inches wide by 4.4 inches deep by 1.34 inches tall, small enough to hide behind a monitor with a VESA mount or slide onto a shelf next to a router since it only weighs about a pound. A metal mid-frame plus ABS+PC shell aids heat dissipation for the low-power internals, and IceBlast 2.0 cooling with dual copper heat pipes and a silent vortex fan keeps operating temperatures low.
Intel N100 is the processor inside the Air12, a 12th-generation Alder Lake-N chip with four cores and a 3.4GHz max clock speed at 6W TDP. That’s enough performance for standard work tasks such as web browsing, spreadsheet editing, streaming, and video calls, all within Windows 11 Pro. The 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM keeps the system responsive across multiple browser tabs and apps at once, and the 512GB PCIe Gen 3 NVMe SSD provides fast app launches and boot times. Both RAM and SSD are also upgradable.
Triple 4K display support at 60Hz is one of the standout features on the Air12, and Intel UHD Graphics inside the N100 drives the output. HDMI 2.0 on the back drives one monitor at 4K, Mini DisplayPort 1.4 drives another, and USB-C on the front or back drives a third. That’s enough monitor real estate for a home office, a video editing setup, or a stock trading rig.
The front panel includes one USB-C 10 Gbps port for data and one USB-A 10 Gbps port, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. Rear ports include two USB-A 10 Gbps, one USB-C 10 Gbps, HDMI 2.0, Mini DisplayPort, and Gigabit Ethernet. A full-size SD card reader on the side also accepts photo and camera storage cards directly. A Kensington lock slot on the right side secures the mini PC to a desk in shared workspaces.
Mini PCs have been growing as a category since Intel released the NUC platform in 2012, and GEEKOM is one of the more affordable brands in the current market. The Air12 shown here is GEEKOM’s entry-level model, positioned above the Air12 Lite for anyone who wants DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen 3 storage. At $299, down from $399, the current sale takes $100 off the retail price. GEEKOM’s 3-year warranty on the Air12 also gives coverage beyond the standard 1-year most brands offer.
