We’re now enough generations into the whole foldable smartphone thing to see its track record. And it turns out, having a big screen that you can fold in half to fit in your pocket is pretty rad. If you’ve been curious to make the jump over to Samsung’s foldable phone, now’s a great time to do so. Amazon has the Galaxy Z Fold7 on sale for about 20% off.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is available in two different options for storage capacities, both of which are discounted at the moment. The small of the two which comes with 256GB of storage normally sells for $2,000, but the deal has it brought down to just $1,580—saving you $420. If you bump up to the 512GB option, you would usually find that one going for $2,220, but Amazon has knocked it down to just $1,700—saving a whole $520. When the Z Fold7 came out a few months ago, in order to save this much, you’d need to hand over your old phone. Now you can just get this heft discount outright for a limited time.

Like every new piece of tech in recent years, Samsung is toting this series of smartphones as being built for the age of AI. Yay… What that translates to on the product level are some enhancements here and there you may or may not engage with.

Note Assist will summarize audio recordings for you in an effort to make finding your key points later on easier. This can be used for long meetings, lectures, and voice memos to help stay organized without having to relisten to every minute of recorded audio yourself.

Other enhancements come with the camera. FlexCam is Samsung’s new dynamic camera features which can help to precisely frame a photo before taking it. When standing in front of something photogenic—say, the Eiffel Tower—the camera can intuitively make changes to the positioning and crop to make sure everyone looks well balanced, and the landmark stays fully in view.

Hardware Enhancements

On the topic of cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold7 features five of them. The rear exterior is where you’ll find the ultra-premium 200MP lens capable of taking incredibly detailed picks. Along with that, there is a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens for taking really zoomed in and really zoomed out pics. Then there are two front-facing 10MP cameras—one on the cover screen and a second inside when you open to the full screen view.
