The Purbhe Switch 2 Dock is a portable USB-C to HDMI adapter for the Nintendo Switch 2 and a range of other handheld devices. It includes an HDMI 2.0 port for video output, a USB 3.0 port for peripherals, and a USB-C port for power input. The Switch 2 outputs 4K at 60Hz through the adapter, while the original Switch and Switch OLED only support up to 1080p. Beyond the Nintendo lineup, the Purbhe adapter also works with the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, Samsung Galaxy phones with DeX support, and iPads or Macs with USB-C ports.

You can pick up the Purbhe Switch 2 Dock for $13 on Amazon, down from its $15 list price, for a $2 discount and 12% off.

A reliable dock for your Switch 2 console

The Purbhe adapter is small enough to fit in a pencil case or a backpack pocket alongside the Switch 2 and a USB-C charger. The official Switch 2 dock is much larger and typically stays connected to a TV in a single room. This makes the Purbhe adapter a viable secondary dock for travel, hotel stays, or use at a friend’s house. The adapter works in plug-and-play fashion and does not require software installation or driver setup.

The Switch 2 requires a 20V/3A USB-C PD charger (60W) to output 4K at 60Hz through the Purbhe adapter. The original Switch and Switch OLED only require 15V/2.6A (about 39W) for their 1080p output. The adapter itself does not include a power supply, which means you’ll need either Nintendo’s original charger or a third-party PD charger that meets the wattage requirements. Using an underpowered charger can cause screen flickering or signal drops during gameplay.

The HDMI 2.0 port supports video output up to 4K at 60Hz when paired with the Switch 2, which matches the resolution and refresh rate of the official Switch 2 dock for most games. The USB 3.0 port supports data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. This is enough for wired controllers, GameCube controller adapters for Super Smash Bros, or USB storage devices that the Switch can recognize.

Outside of Nintendo consoles, the Purbhe adapter works with the Steam Deck and ROG Ally for docking purposes, and both can output 4K at 60Hz through the HDMI port. The adapter also supports Samsung DeX mode for compatible Galaxy phones, which turns the phone into a desktop-style workspace on a TV or monitor. Apple iPads and Macs with USB-C ports work with the adapter for screen mirroring or extended display setups.

At $13 with the $2 discount applied, the Purbhe Switch 2 Dock is an easy pickup for Switch 2 owners who want a backup dock or a travel-friendly version. The $15 list price was already low, and the small discount brings it down further.
