While it’s nice to go for 4K instead, that’s a lot more expensive, and HD is still going to look fantastic on the 27-inch screen anyway, especially as it also has a 120 Hz refresh rate, allowing it to keep up with faster GPUs, and ensure you’re getting a buttery-smooth experience. It has a fairly low latency of 1ms too, so you should have no problems keeping up in games where reaction time is the ultimate goal.
Along with that, it has Adaptive-Sync support, which means that it’ll automatically detect the output of your GPU and match it to ensure the best possible visuals on this device, and that’s true even if you’re locking the frame rate at its max, or going for something lower. Plus, that means you’re less likely to get screen tearing, the silent killer of so many games. This is an excellent deal on a monitor which is absurdly good value at this price. It can do everything most of us need in a monitor, and that’s good whether it’s going to be your main monitor, or you second, or even third. Don’t go for four, that’s obscene.
