The Garden of Words is one of the most beautiful anime films in recent memory. Let’s see how it compares to Tokyo, the city where it takes place.

The movie, which came out in 2013, is set during Japan’s rainy season, when everything is lush, green and wet. You might’ve seen some of these comparisons before as meme images; they were recently uploaded by Japanese site Nijipoi.
