Pokémon Family Reunions Rarely End Well

You capture a Pokémon, add it to your Pokédex, and never once think of the family the poor creature left behind. Maybe now you'll think, you heartless bastards. Maybe now you'll think.

Or not. See, this is why I number my Pokémon instead of naming them. By stripping them of their Pokémanity, I never run into unfortunate incidents like the one depicted in this Dorkly comic.
