Originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2013, the first Yokai Watch game is being released in HD on the Nintendo Switch. It will be titled Yokai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch and be out in Japan on October 10. No word yet on an international release.

Yokai Watch 4 has been delayed again in Japan. Originally slated for winter 2018, the Nintendo Switch game was delayed to June 6. Now it is scheduled for June 20 to improve quality. No word yet about an international release.

Yokai Watch 4, which Kotaku checked out at the Tokyo Game Show, has been delayed to next spring in Japan. It was supposed to be out winter 2018. Inazuma Eleven: Balance Of Ares, which was slated for this fall, has also be pushed back. It will be out this winter in Japan.

Yo-Kai Watch 3 will hit 3DS in North America on February 8, 2019. The Pokemon-like will come as two separate versions per usual: Sushi and Tempura. The game is broken up into two halves, the first focusing on life in an Americanized town called St. Peanutsburg and the second on a detective agency.

Many people have pinged me asking what Hasbro is showing for Yo-Kai Watch at Toy Fair. We’ll have to wait until we’re closer to season three to see new toys, but they did have connectable Wibble Wobble figures, as mimicked here by the best demo guy ever, Eric. Eric Von Demoguy.

An official Yokai Watch shop is finally opening in Japan’s Kansai region, joining an outlet in Tokyo. According to Famitsu, this March the shop will open at LaLaport Koshien shopping mall in Hyogo Prefecture.

Here’s the English-language trailer for the Yokai Watch movie. As ANN points out, this is the dubbed version of the first film, which will be shown in select U.S. theaters on October 15.
