Slowly but surely, it looks like Mario Kart 8 is shaping up to be the game it was always meant to be. First, Nintendo delighted fans with the announcement that Zelda and Animal Crossing were making their way into the game. And now they're sweetening the deal with a classic car from Mario Karts past: the B-Dasher.

Now you, too, can drive around your very own Mario Kart-themed Mario Kart. Assuming you're 27-year-old Nathanial Stehley, who won himself a life-sized kart racer as part of a GameStop rewards program.
We're a little late reviewing Hori's official Mario Kart 7 Wheel peripheral, but I'm somewhat glad we are, thanks to some of the non-racing games I played with it on a whim. It was so much more fun to race against my friends than it was to race against the (frustrating, rubber banding) computer—the idea of online Mario Kart hadn't even crossed…
The pretty damn amazing Mario Kart 7 ad currently showing looks pretty damn amazing. So amazing that it'd be easy to assume the entire thing, actors aside, was computer generated. But it's not!
Mario's debut on the 3DS was, appropriately, called Super Mario 3D Land. And never in the series 19-year history has the game had a numbered sequel (well, technically there's Mario Kart 64, but it was not the 64th game in the series.)
