Since I was a child in the early 90s watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on TV, I have always dreamed of being the captain of my own starship with a crew at my command. Last weekend, I finally got my chance.
Long have I dreamed of sitting in the captain's chair of a Federation Starship, a talented (and likely very attractive) crew at my beck and call, ready to power up the warp drive and take us into battle. It's not just because my name is Kirk—it's because the bridge of a starship is an awesome place to be.
My very first E3 2012 appointment this morning was with peripheral company Razer. At the forefront of their booth beneath a glass case sat this thing. My first question for the team: "What the hell is that thing?"
