In its first week on sale in Japan, Nintendo 3DS title Metroid Prime: Federation Force only sold 4286 copies, according to Famitsu’s sales data. The game came in at number 20 in the weekly sales ranking.
In comparison, The King of Fighters XIV, which also went on sale the same day, sold 23,242 copies that same week, coming in at number three.
