Those who do not get the Wii U Premium Set might want to pony up for the various Wii U accessories that the bundle contains—namely, the stands. You can get the Wii U GamePad Stand Set for ¥1,890, and it includes a Wii U GamePad stand and a charger stand.
For ¥315, you can get two black Wii U console cradles to hold your Wii U in place.
Kotaku previously broke the news that the Wii U cannot actually stand up. "I guess we could make a stand," Nintendo's senior game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto, told Kotaku at the time, "I think maybe it was because we didn't want people to think it was a Wii."
