Darth Vader recruits everyone's favorite bounty hunter to get to the heart of the Starkiller issue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. See Boba Fett get his marching orders in this clip from the game.
"Find the woman and bring her to me. He will follow," orders Lord Vader. "I'll need a squadron of Stormtroopers. They won't be coming back," replies Boba Fett, the galaxy's top bounty hunter, who shares the same DNA as the clones that once made up the entirety of the Stormtrooper ranks. Sure, the Emperor eventually opened up the ranks to conscripts and born recruits, but it's still slightly creepy for Boba to be so nonchalant about the deaths of guys who might look just like his dad.
Boba is likely being ordered to kidnap Juno Eclipse, Starkiller's love interest, in order to use her as bait to bring Vader's lost boy home. Seems like a very Boba Fett sort of thing to do.
According to an interview with LucasArts writer Haden Blackman at USA Today, Boba will play a "small but pivotal role" in the sequel.
An official announcement of Boba's presence in the game will be made during Comic-Con, kicking off today.
