Armed and armored vehicles do battle in a post-apocalyptic wasteland while laying waste to hordes of zombie strippers in Blood Drive, coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this November from Activision Publishing.
To be fair, it's not just zombie strippers. There's also undead frat boy, cops, and "bachelorette partiers" roaming the streets as players compete in a sick and twisted televised game show. It's a little bit Twisted Metal, a dash of Carmageddon, and a smidgeon of Fallout: New Vegas.
Wait, is that an ice cream truck with a clown on the side of it?
Okay, so it's a lot Twisted Metal.
The game features a series of events spread across six different environments, from a Vegas-like strip, which we've seen before, to an airfield, which we've also seen before. There's quite a lot of seen before going on in this game.
"Over-the-top vehicular combat and zombies are two things that go great together," said David Pokress, Activision Publishing. "What more is there to say?"
What more is there to say? Well there's the November release window, and the price of $49.99, for starters. Why $10 cheaper than normal? Perhaps the industry has instituted some sort of derivative discount without telling anyone.
