Dante's Inferno is an interesting beast: A video game based on an epic poem written to attack the political foes of the author in the 14th Century.

While the poem tells the story of Dante journey through hell, purgatory and heaven as an observer, the game has him get hands on with things, very hands on.

I spoke with the developers at length about the ideas and issues faced in tackling what is considered by many to be one of the greatest works of world literature. But I can't post that until next week. Until then check out this trailer and argue among yourselves.
