Even if I hard thumbs, having that weird watching be play a console where my face has to be 6 inches from the tv screen because the wire is oddly short in length is hell enough for me.

I know it's major nitpicking, but it'd be perfectly possible to play without thumbs. Much harder, but possible.

I'm pretty sure you can play without thumbs, even on a console. you just need a flat space of some sort to put the controller onto. :3

I just examined that controller closer. One button and a D-pad? Definitely don't need thumbs.

I used to play NES back in the day all the time with the controller on the ground and using my index fingers.

@RageW and RPharazonius: it can take some learning how to use a mouse if you useyour thumb often, but if you palm your mouse to begin with, then its no problem, but most people use their thumbs without knowing it

Wii Fit comes to mind.

He can always borrow some thumbs from Sony since they are not putting it for some good use.

@RageW: You can keep the jump key on space and just bump with your hand. You'd have to adapt to it, but after a week or two it should be fine.

Being forced to play Nintendo games could be pretty terible.

I can think of a lot of games that don't need thumbs. most Final Fantasy and RGP's for that matter.

Any game I want? I would play Street Fighter IV. No thumbs are needed for that.

You can easily play the arcade games behind him. You have Pac-man so it could keep you busy for a while trying to beat your own score :P

oh oh i got it. They can give the each coin on a flat surface everytime the continue message is on. It should be hell to try to pick up the coin without a thumb and put it on the cabinet, i doubt you can do that in less than 10 seconds :P

It would be a lot of fun to watch someone try to play Wii without thumbs. Even if you manage to hold the 'mote with only 4 fingers, using only 1 button is a bit over-simplified.

No electricity. I have tons of games, but when the power goes out (damn storms or what have you), it's very sad time.

This is why we have JRPGs.
