When it comes to the teases Nintendo's been doling out for the upcoming Smash Bros. games, the Wii U's been getting most of the love. There've only been a few scant glimpses of the 3DS version. The latest screens of the portable all-star brawler shows what a level based on Super Mario 3D Land will look like.
Over on Nintendo's Miiverse social networking service, Smash Bros. design lead/workaholic Masahiro Sakurai showed the new 3DS levels in a series of pics, talking up how they're going to merge depth and side-scrolling:
It's cool to see that there's a separate thought process for the Smash Bros. ideas that can only happen on the 3DS.
