Routine, a first-person sci-fi game that we first wrote about in 2012, will finally be out in March 2017. Fans of Alien Isolation might want to take a look.
I’ve been looking forward to the space horror game Routine for, quite literally, years now, but the most recent update suggests 2016 might be when the game finally arrives. The trailer for Routine still gives me chills! If we all watch it again, maybe development will finish faster.
I watched and watched and thought “Well, this looks cool but nothing’s really happening.” But then something happened—exactly what I don’t know—and I jumped in my desk chair. Yup, Routine’s got me.
Just because you play a game in the first-person doesn't mean you have to spend the whole thing with a gun stuck out in front of you. More games should realise this. Like the upcoming Routine, which is billed as a "first person horror exploration game set on an abandoned Moon base".
