PangaeaPanga is a brutal Mario Maker creator; it can take weeks for people to figure out how to beat his stages. PangaeaPanga spent than 20 hours making Cape Escape, which he uploaded on January 17. Less than two weeks later, Grand POOBear cracked it.
Cape Escape is built upon a particular trick with shells in Super Mario World, allowing the player to flick them at the environment and bounce off them.
That’s hardly the only hazard players have to deal with, but the foundation of Cape Escape is coming to grips with this way of managing shells the whole way.
I’ve played tough levels in Mario Maker, but nothing like this. I’m OK with that.
Your move, PangaeaPanga.
