No Bethesda Games Coming To Wii U Anytime Soon

In a recent interview at QuakeCon, Bethesda's Pete Hines explained to Joystiq why they're not bringing any of their upcoming titles—The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Evil Within—to Nintendo's console in the near future:

None of the games we've announced are being developed for the Wii U, so it's guaranteed that none of those games are coming to Wii U. Will any future ones come out? I can't say for sure, in our near-term focus it's not on our radar.

Surprisingly their reasons are the Wii U's hardware limitations and not the struggling worldwide sales:

It's largely a hardware thing. [We] make the games that we want to make, on whatever platforms will support them as developed.

At this point I don't even want to think about Doom 4 being ported to Wii U.
