Regardless of what you think of the game, Disney Infinity will always be remembered for one big achievement: it's managed to take a ton of Disney movies, all with their own signature visual style, and wrangle them all into the single project, where they're looking mostly identical.
One of the people responsible for this is Sam Nielson, an artist at Avalanche Software, who has shared the creative process behind creating a unified, trademark look for the Infinity Universe.
It's as great for its look at the journey through different ideas as it is seeing what the cute little figures could have looked like.
