Skyrim may be a video game from 2011 - like dogs years, this makes it almost old - but it's still one of the best-looking video games on the planet, as you can see in these incredible screenshots.
They're part of a collection called Dawn's Beauty - The Landscapes of Tamriel, which has been put together by photographer Andy Cull, the same guy behind the excellent Faces of Skyrim series.
The idea here is that they're screenshots (presumably with a mod or two being used) presented as landscape photography, capturing everything a real photographer would want to see/capture from an actual location, not what someone would want to see when trying to sell a video game.
Though as you'll see, those are one and the same thing when it comes to these shots. They were submitted by Zilverborn, Margarita.Enot, Tobi aka Insomnia, Grizz Jack, YourAverageGrunt, ZeNoXua and Diethardt.
Every pic is presented as it was captured; nothing further was done in Photoshop.
And before you ask, yes, these are all wallpaper-sized.
