Hello, Kotaku, and welcome to the week-ending Open Thread. It's been a fun week here, and we hope you've liked all the new kinds of stuff we've been running.
I've got some fun posts coming up in the new Friday night version of "Total Recall," which will focus on more recent games that are still old enough not... to be... new. It'll make sense, don't worry.
In the meantime, it's open thread time! Here are some things from around the internet:
- Last week I linked to Steve Vai, so I guess now I'm going to link to "Steve Vai Shreds" - Because it's funny, and I think these are funny, because apparently I have a terrible sense of humor.
- Easily the best rendition of the Jurassic Park theme I've ever heard - Easily!
- Awesome Downton Abbey Paper Dolls - You know you want to print these out.
- Kitty watching Dubstep - I wonder if this cat will like Far Cry 3?
- How hip-hop albums have phased out the skit - You know, this is true!
- "It's a snap!" - Just watch this. You'll laugh.
- Aww, I love Douglas Adams. - Even when he's being terrifying.
- "Around the jazz internet" - This is a good way to keep up on what's going on in jazz, and last night I got the sense that some of y'all like the music.

And there you have it. Have good open threading, and a fantastic weekend.
