In Japan, there's been a touring exhibition of Assassin's Creed art. No wonder, because the game has amazing art. Just check out the concept art for Assassin's Creed: Revelations (here and here).
Now, look at this. This isn't concept art. Rather, this is art from the cleverly named Assassin's Creed: Art Exhibit, which offers new and fresh takes on the AC games.
The exhibit features works from well-known Japanese artists, such as Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai), Katsuya Terada (Blood: The Last Vampire), Yusuke Hashimoto (Platinum Games producer), Koji Morimoto (Studio 4°C co-founder), Akihiko Yoshida (Square Enix), and famed anime creator Mahiro Maeda.
The show, which originally ran from Aug. to Nov. 2011, is coming back to Tokyo. It is running until Jan. 17 at Pixiv Zingaro. More info in the link below. Photos in the gallery courtesy of website Famitsu.com.
