There's no such thing as aging gracefully when you're Ezio Auditore. UbiWorkshop's animated tale, Assassin's Creed Embers, tells the tale of what happens when old age and old enemies start catching up with the master assassin.
It's rare that we get to see our video game heroes grow old. Aside from the odd fighting game character, only Metal Gear's Solid Snake comes immediately to mind. Generally our heroes are frozen in time; ageless wonders we can revisit any time we want.
But in Assassin's Creed Revelations and now Assassin's Creed Embers, we get to see what happens when a man we've controlled since he was a teenager approaches the end of his life.
Embers is a computer animated short film that will ship in GameStop's Assassin's Creed Revelations Signature Edition, and will also be available for download on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on November 15, when Revelations hits stores.
