RE: ...A Day Without An Owen
Last Christmas on the flight back to Japan, I read about half of Tokyo Vice. It's a non-fiction crime book by Jake Adelstein, a writer we've featured here on Kotaku a couple of times.
But! I didn't finish the book on the plane. I accidentally left in my seat, and I truly hope whoever found it enjoyed it. (However, two years ago I did leave a copy of that trashy Madonna book by Christopher Ciccone on purpose. Can't walk off a plane with that, no way!)
Today, Jake was nice enough to send me a copy of his book. It's the paperback, which makes sense because, well, the book is just getting its paperback release. Funny, that.
I will read this rest of Tokyo Vice. I will finish this book. However, I will not read it on a plane, a bus, a train or even in a taxi. I might read it on a boat or in a helicopter. Maybe.
