German a cappella metal band Van Canto makes the free-to-play MMO Runes of Magic look more exciting than it has ever been in this music video for "Magic Taborea."
Those not familiar with Van Canto might see the elaborate costumes and props and wonder why the band would go to so much trouble to market a video game. I assure readers this is no trouble for them at all. Van Canto is in and out of fantasy garb more often than the steak on a stick girl at your local renaissance festival.

I'm not sure the lightning is a special effect. After years of doing this, the band may have developer the ability to project lightning on demand. That is how metal they are.
