"My name is John-Rhys Davies and I play the role of Gimli in this splendid game, Aragorn's Quest." I don't know about you guys, but I'm sold.

I love John-Rhys Davies' voice. I've loved it since I first saw him in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and while the actor himself might not have the physical presence he once had, his voice more than makes up for it. If I had to pick one man to follow me around, narrating everything I did, it would be this guy right here. Just imagine, "Michael paused in his typing, giving the splendid readers a chance to imagine the sonorous voice explaining what he was doing."

Gives you shivers, doesn't it?

Of course Sean Astin will be the main narrator for Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, and he has nothing on Rhys-Davies, but a little Gimli goes a long way.
