What mysteries lurk within the eerie mountain town of Alan Wake's Bright Falls? Find out this Sunday, when the first two episodes of a six-part live action prequel series show up on Xbox Live.
Acclaimed short film director Philip Van takes us on an eerie, suspense-filled tour of Alan Wake's setting in "Bright Falls," a live action miniseries that Microsoft says "evokes the same ghostly chills as "Twin Peaks" did when it premiered 20 years ago this month." That's a pretty tall order right there.
It'll get some help from performances by creepy character actors Tom Noonan (Damages) and Cooper Huckabee (True Blood), portraying residents of the sleepy town with more than its fair share of dark secrets.
The first two episodes will be available on Sunday, April 25 on Xbox Live for Gold subscribers, April 26 for Silver members, and will then debut online at BrightFalls.com. New episodes will be released weekly, with the final two dropping on May 17, a day before the game hits the Xbox 360 in North America.
