While at GDC, we noticed that the new PlayStation Move controller has a little lag. Want to see how much lag?
The technical gurus at Digital Foundry took a 60 frames-per-second camera to GDC, went and used the Move for a bit, and took this footage. It doesn't take the 20% speed to see that there's some noticeable lag there.
Not enough to render the controller useless, of course, and no more than you're used to with the Wii, but enough to have an impact on any game that requires precise timing.
In its defence, this is pre-release stuff, and there's no telling what magic can be conjured by Sony's engineers (and developers) between now and the peripheral's release.
