Valkyria Chronicles II for the PSP is confirmed for a US release in Summer 2010, according to Sega's blog.
The new handheld game takes place two years after the events of the first Valkyria Chronicles, when Gallia is plunged into civil war when a group of rebels — called Gallian Revolutionary Army — rise up against the government. Ain't reconstruction the proverbial bitch?
I was actually worried we wouldn't get the game in the US for quite a while. Valkyria Chronicles was a darling of the critics (including myself), but I wondered if it sold well enough to the American PlayStation 3 audience to justify bringing over the sequel. Guess the answer is yes.
