Legendary Japanese rocker Kyosuke Himuro, member of seminal band Boøwy, has joined forces with emo vocalist Gerard Way from the group My Chemical Romance for the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete.

Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura is a big Boøwy fan. Back in 2005, Himuro's tune "Calling" from his 1989 album Neo Fascio found its way into the movie's score.

In what seems to be an another effort on Square Enix's part to reach out to Westerners, Way and Himuro team up for the new ending tune, "Safe and Sound". It's penned by Gerard Way, and there's a preview in the link below.
