Tomorrow, I turn 30 years-old. I shall spend the day weeping and looking at dinosaur bones (no, really). Fitting, I know. But because of the time difference (between Japan time and the time I was actually born in the States), I probably won't turn 30 until the day after tomorrow. Yay.

This is odd: So the wife of buddy Matt Alt cannot get a Facebook profile. His wife is Japanese and her family name is "Yoda" — which is a fairly common name here. (Didn't Lucas actually name "Yoda" after someone Japanese he knew named "Yoda"?) Apparently Facebook won't approve the name "Yoda". That's, well, not very nice.
