39,000 FPS Explosions Go Way Past "Slow Motion"

This is what it looks like when you shoot stuff at an old TV set (or a line of doomed eggs) at capture speeds up to 39000 frames per second.

You've probably seen videos like this before, but probably at speeds of around 6000 fps. 39000FPS is just...nuts. You can see buckshot in mid-air.

Everything in the video above was shot using a Phantom V12.1, a piece of kit so expensive the only price I can see online is $2500 to rent one for a single day.
