Lots of sites are posting these, I saw them on British Gaming Blog first. Here's two new screenshots from Banjo Kazooie. This follows rumors that the Xbox's "Newton" Wiimote clone is being built specifically for this title's gameplay.
Looks like some serious Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang action in the first shot. Another after the jump. Click on them for full size.
First Banjo 3 Screenshots [British Gaming Blog]

Comments
1.I love a controller that is named after my last name..
2. I heard that this was looking good at the MVP meeting at MS.Although,I don't think it was playable.Loved playing the first one on N64.
Looks pretty nice.
I hope the game will be as awesome as it looks... Can't wait!
I still don't like the Banjo model, and I'm worried it won't live up to the N64 games...I hope I'm wrong.
@enewtabie: Is your first name Isaac?
@hamandcheeseUK: By the way, I apologise for probably being the 3958935th person to ask you that in your lifetime. I wish there was an edit button :(
Yeah this game looks fantastic.
I hope we can play it with the standard 360 controller though.
/me hugs Rare
@hamandcheeseUK:
Distant relative..
Looks awesome. Can't wait to see if it has a good feel like the first one did.
I'm going to have to visit my friends that own 360s a lot more often once this game is actually released. That or buy one of my own, but we'll see how I feel as the release draws closer.
Mmmm.... colors.
Looks nice. I am looking foward to playing this one. I hope this is a big return for RARE, they have not done a really really good game in a good few years. Not that any of there 360 games so far.
Hey remember when that Greenberg guy was poking fun at Sony for announcing Killzone 2 and not releasing it till years later? Yeah that was a good one.
Awesome.A third rate knock-off of Nintendo's platformers using a knock-off of the Wiimote.And Rare hasn't made a AAA game in a decade,sounds GREAT!
I feel sad that I'm not motivated enough to buy a 360 for this game.
The screenshots look awesome. The title and gameplay sound exactly like that Pinata game that was bought by about five people.
Looks good. Hope it delivers.
Leave it to Rare to dazzle the eyes!
This game looks amazing, I'm looking forward to this.
mmmmm, nuts~
Looks nice although platformers can be hit and miss in even some of the best developer's hands. I'll say it's another +1 exclusive for MS for the moment.
I loved the first two games, looking forward to the third.
Game actually looks nice...very colorful, but seriously difficult to deduce too much from just two screen shots with very little occurring in them.
Rare on the 360 has been an interesting dilemma. Each of the games has had the potential to shine but just came up short, Kameo and Viva in particular. I actually really liked Kameo personally. In any event it would be nice for this game to push Rare back into the spotlight.
Rare. Microsoft's aquisition may pay off slowly, but it will be one helluva studio.
@LittleBigPlaneteer: Hey remember those times Sony kept showing Killzone 2 footage, hyping it to high hell and positioning it as a Halo killer, reason to own PS3 and an example of the graphics Ps3 was capable of?
But you're right. Rare released one teaser trailer for Banjo, and two screen shots leaked months later. What hypocrites Microsoft are. This is totally a similar situation.

It looks amazing. I was really excited when I saw these earlier, and still impressed. Cannot wait!
I can't stand the way Banjo looks. Here's hoping that Kazooie doesn't suffer from Retarded Redesign Syndrome, AKA the Judy Nails Disease.
Rare hasn't made a good game since the original Conker's BFD. I have very low expectations for this one.
And I still hate the new Banjo model.
"Mumbo's Nuts" xDDDDDDDD
So, they're keeping the satirical humor of Tooie!! I loved that!... Graphics looks great. Let's hope the same for the GamePlay
Looks ok, I hope it doesn't become a disaster like Perfect Dark Zero is though. I will wait and see how this turns out, but I really hate the new Banjo model, looks really disproportionate and ugly.
I might buy a 360 for this game
@Jelster: ALthough this looks great I don't think platformers are exactly MS's strenght right now.
I squealed like a little girl for five minutes straight, and then immediately ran downstairs to tell my mother.
On another note, wallpaper'd.
I hope this isn't too reliant on vehicles, and that you can play with the standard 360 controller.
do freaking want. i PRAY it's not a dissapointment. i mean mother of god, such a great duo of games. here's hopin'.
Looks a bit little big planetish-ripp offish.. or is it just me? :D
This and a good Viva Pinata follow up is what Rare should have been working on long ago. But...
1-If Newton is being made just for this game, it's going to not only pigeon-hole it to a more limited group of people, but it could very likely fall flat via Wii-mote efforts. Normal controller for the love of god.
2-If it's a typical Rare "Collect-a-fest." like they were churning out before Nintendo sold them, then count me out, seriously. One set of stars/globes/juggles and nothing else,
3-It's never going to fulfill the hopes and dreams everyone's going to be holding out for it and the core Xbox user base isn't going to buy it. Look at Viva, it had a stupidly large ad campaign, it's own cartoon and still sold for shit.
Apple Computers is probably having a little chuckle over the codename themselves.
Can't wait to see if Rare can finally drag themselves out of the mud. Viva Piniata is probably the last game of theirs I enjoyed, and before that, Perfect Dark. Not PDZ, that game was an utter failure compared to the glorious original PD.
also, anyoen notice the reference to mumbo in the 1st one? i want some nuts. shoot.
@jovus:
Just you. A thousand times just you.
@jovus: Well yeah I think it's just you. besides the vibrant colors and the you know, platforming, I don't see anything common to the two games. So far.
The graphics look too nice and clean for it to be in-game. That said, it's just another platformer that I'll gladly pass on.
I also don't need waggle, ever. It works on the Wii because the system is built around that one feature, it'll fall to the wayside and be forgotten and mocked if it's released on a console such as the 360.
@jovus:LBP is a platformer who's big selling point is the user created content. Without the user created content, it's nothing.
Banjo 3 is a platformer, period and does not rely on user created content to make up the bulk of the game.
@slomo788:
True although Rare have once or twice done the genre justice. Right now they look to have the wow factor at least. We'll have to see if they can back it up with actual entertaining gameplay.
You can't tell too much from the screenshots at first glance, but they both seem to take place in the same area, since the second screenshot has the TV-type walls you can see in the background of the first screen shot. Any idea if the whole game has this sort of hand-crafted art style?
@Foxstar Sixtail: "LBP is a platformer who's big selling point is the user created content. Without the user created content, it's nothing.
"
You have no idea what you're talking about.
@Jelster: Oh yeah I trust Rare for creating quality games, but the popularity of Nintendo and Sony platformers is just too great compared to BK.
I will buy an Xbox 360 solely for this game.
@ slomo788
Well i see a big pile of something that reminds me on something from LBP, and a "posters" slaped on the walls on the right and left just like in LPB.. i mean i dont know anything about Banjo, and it was just my first thought, but i guess im wrong.
Looks great so far!
It's really satisfying how two screenshots can boost my hopes and expectations. Can't wait for E3!
@slomo788:I don't? Really, then, feel free to correct me.
@Foxstar Sixtail:
I'm assuming he was referring to the level design. That's the only thing that looks LBP-ish to me. Even the sourced article mentions that.
@Foxstar Sixtail:
and i agree with slomo788 that you have no idea what are you talking about!
@jovus: If you don't know anything about Banjo, you probably shouldn't comment about it being a LBP knockoff then. It is a 3d platformer, whereas LBP is user-generated content in a 2d platformer style.
@slomo788:By Sony platformers, do you mean Naughty Dog and Insomniac? Because Sony does not have a first party studio who makes platformers, never has.
