Japan has its own Buckner and Garcia equivalent in game sound remixer Hyadain, whose Street Fighter II jam, crafted from the sounds of Street Fighter II naturally, is high on kitsch value and relatively low on repeat listen appeal. It's adorable, with terribly great English language lyrics in the chorus and sing along profiles for every World Warrior. Please, try to enjoy! It's awesome! Thanks to SamuraiPanda for the link!

Nice voice for Dhalsim.
Almost too catchy for its own good.
Someone grab the band aids, my ears are bleeding.
That was hilarious and awful at the same time. Loved the Blanka section, he sounded like a villain from the 80s He-Man series.
I've always found it amusing how this kind of music arbitrarily shoves English lyrics into the Japanese.
I must be a dumb but I have to admit thats kinda refreshing lol. I like it was a okay song.
MUST HAVE THIS SONG!
Dhalsim is such a nerd
Interesting
This song is awesome!
if i had known that street fighting could make a future brighter, i would have taken a very different path in life.
I lol'd. Love the song, it's really awesome. Made my day, or night, as I'm going to bed.
The "Super Mario de Western Show" Song is way bettah:
+ Watch video
"Otoko ha Kokoro de Shobu!"
Ken's voice was so hilarious!
@inu: That is also awesome. How long has that been around? I'm really disappointed I haven't seen it before now!
What's a Street-a-fighter?
@inu: & original post...
I... I don't know what to say... feelings of both love and contempt swirl about. It IS so bad it's good. In an abusive way. Like fried ice cream, so bad (for you), but so good (tasting).
E. Honda's birthday is S35.11.3. I have no idea what that means.
holy shit. i just realized how much ken looks like owen wilson. weird.
It's so catchy. I liked it :P
Make a future brighter!
Also, no love for Vega, Sagat, Bison or Balrog?
Still, fun to watch (once).
To quote Chun Li.. 'Pizza Kick!'
lol the title changed
@PollockRoc: Showa 35 (1960), November 3.
If I have this song stuck in my head the rest of the night...so help you all.
Damn, that was awesome. Lots of good memories of wasting quarters for hours playing it on the head2head cabinets...
Looking at those bios, I just realized; Chun Li is 40 years old now.
I'm not sure a lady of her age, with thigs like that, should be wearing that dress anymore.
Let's fighting love! lol
that was awesome
I loved it.
Damn thats one catchy chorus :(
@inu:
that video was creepy as well as funny
danke
someone point me towards the mp3 file!!
lol that was cool.
and LOL at Dhalsim and Hondas voices!!
The beat is off the hook! I also like how the voices correspond to different characters. Excellent crossover.
I don't understand. How can fighting in the street make "a future brighter"? And whose future? Yours? Those of the spectators? And if indeed the fighting makes a future brighter, why does the fighter need such encouragement? Wouldn't you just continue the future-brightening fight, without needing a whole song telling you about how great it was? All kinds of jobs make the--or a--future brighter, but most people don't need theme songs to tell them that.
Maybe fighting doesn't make the future brighter--thus the need for the song, probably sung by people who know the truth, yet have some sort of stake in your continuing to fight.
This thing just blew my mind. I prefer my fighting/J-pop mashups to be less thought-provoking.
I knew Dhalsim was really Weird Al Yankovic in disguise! Or was it the other way around....?
I'd definitely listen to this on repeat. It makes me reminisce about SFII's awesomeness.
@Fury-genesis: I'm surprised she keeps her weight a secret, but is okay with people knowing her age.
NICE.
I love the fact that Zangief's little bit was sung to the tetris theme, the greatest russian video game evah. Nice touch.
@inu:
Poor Luigi. Never gets any love. That song is damn catchy, too.
Very catchy bit of jpop there.
@SuperOmelet: perhaps, or maybe the workers of the future brightening jobs are waiting for a j-pop song based on a game based on their profession to give them the encouragement to continue. for example doctors, politicians, lawyers, and faceless space marines.
That is the anthem for humanity's progression.
Freaking 12 shades of awesome.
lol. honda sounds like the chef from the muppets
Man, there needs to be a lot more of these posts on this site.. VERY FUVING AWESOME.
LOL (only that)
I dig the song. Anyone that wants the mp3 can do it themselves using videocodezone.com. Link below.

I don't remember the breaking the bricks bonus round. Anyone know what SF2 game that came from?
@ese: That was for the SNES version of SF2 i think the SEGA ones had the car one instead.
I thought it was funny that the Japanese characters used "Showa" for their age, everyone else got the western calendar.
ONG I LOLed. Fun things happen sometimes.
This is so amazing. It's probably the best thing to happen to anything. Ever.
I have to download this song, because it makes me laugh, even as it rocks me to my very core.
Hehehe.. It's so awesomely bad.
@MURDERFACE:
Ah shame on me I had all of the SF2 games on the Snes. Now I need to dig out the snes, or fire up the emulators. Much appriciation.
The usage of the laughs was golden, I cracked up a lot.
Now, someone has to strike back at this with a King of Fighters remix!
The chord progressions are kinda reminiscent of Mega Man 2's Metal Man level.
So why hasnt the Western Show Super Mario Bros been posted up yet?
@ese: Sure No problem. That reminds me too i need to fire up MAME to see if their is a difference between the US & JPN versions.
LOL, thats awesome!
I love how it has the subtitles pop up even though it's in English.
Wow this is awesome. If yous ee the lyrics translation it is really cool.
