Rainbow Six Siege just got a big update. 1.2 is not meant to fix all top issues, but it does improve hit registration (again), server tick rate, and matchmaking. Basically, if the game pissed you off with server issues or lopsided matchmaking (hi, that’s me), it might be time to give it another shot.
Rainbow Six Siege got its first big update. Hit registration is better. There’s also an auto-kick feature for team killers and an HD graphics pack for PC players. More divisive, meanwhile, are HUD changes that make casual and ranked modes similar. Ubi plans to add a third, less forgiving mode, Hardcore, next year.

Ubisoft has delayed Rainbow Six: Siege from October 13 to December 1, citing player feedback as the biggest reason the team needs a few more weeks to polish the game up. The upcoming closed beta will still kick off on September 24, however. Read more
