It was only four months ago that The Wind Rises, Studio Ghibli’s previous film, hit theaters across Japan. But Hayao Miyazaki is not the only director over at the studio to have a movie out this year. Isao Takahata (of Grave of the Fireflies fame) released his own film, The Tale of Princess Kaguya, this past weekend.

New Studio Ghibli anime dated! Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya) was originally supposed to be out this summer, but it was delayed to fall because the storyboards weren't finished. Now, according to IT Media, the anime finally has a release date in Japan: November 23.
Next summer, Studio Ghibli is releasing two films in Japan: Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) and Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya).
