A dungeon RPG from Nihon Falcom released on the PC-8801 in 1990 and ported to PC-9801 and FM Towns a year later. It was remade in 2002 as Dinosaur Resurrection. Only released in Japan but has some English UI text throughout the game
Forgetful Dictator, out later this week on Steam, looks like the greatest educational video game I never got to play at school. Dressed as a strategy game, you’re actually learning about geography, capital cities and flags while you fight a giant dinosaur (and your own lack of knowledge of the world around you).
Dinosaur Polo Club, the guys behind the excellent Mini Metro, are back with Mini Motorways, which is basically the same deal, only now you’re building roads. It’s on Apple Arcade on September 19, but is also coming to PC next year.
