Absolutely. I'm always blown away by the depiction of nerdiness on Big Bang Theory, with lonely people hanging out at the comic book store. That hasn't been my experience, or anything close. Read more
Comment of they day, right here. I wish everyone was as open-minded. Thankfully, my girlfriend is as accepting of my geekiness as you are of your guy. Read more
I too was a little confused on the sentence, your interpretation is as close as I can come to making sense of it. Read more
I've also never understood the logic of launching a system in November. Launch earlier than that, get the hardcore early adopters out of the way, and actually have time to ramp up production for the mass market come the holidays. Read more
I very much doubt that. Microsoft went with x86 for its first console because they understood it well and could roll it out quickly. For the Xbox 360 they went with PowerPC because it was more power efficient and a superior design to x86. I strongly expect they'll continue that trend with their next system. Read more
I don't see the humour in that. The initial Xbox 360 kits were high-spec PowerPC-based Macs. The initial original Xbox kits were x86 PCs. Read more
We've seen so little of Halo 4, it could easily have been targeted for a new system from day 1. Read more
Remember people below, everyone can play on the DLC maps whether they bought it or not (you only have to purchase it if you want to host). If you still want to bitch then fine, but make sure your bitching is factual. :) Read more
All non-cosmetic on-disc DLC is playable online whether you purchase it or not (you just can't host if you're playing on a DLC map). And eventually that DLC will be entirely unlocked. Read more

I'd give my right arm for more Halo Wars DLC. Seriously, I'm still playing that game 2.5 years later, and we haven't had any new DLC for it since 2009. I'm dying for new maps. Read more
I also initially questioned the connection, until they said "Kinect" as well. However, I didn't specifically make the connection to it being an alternative in a dangerous neighbourhood and/or one without outdoor park/play facilities. Interesting point! Read more
I'm not sure what you're getting at. "$775 million of sales" is a lot more than a million units sold. A lot more. Read more
It didn't seem simplified to me. I mean, that tower climb? I never did accomplish that in JSRF, whereas I beat Jet Grind Radio. Read more

I was there about 26 years ago, also when I was about 12 years old. I mostly remember standing in line for ages (sometimes for hours) for attractions; at least one attraction, Star Tours, we never did get into despite standing in line for about two hours. I enjoyed Universal Studios and Knotts Berry Farm a lot more. Read more
Read "The Fall of Reach", which flashes back to large tracts of the Master Chief's so-called childhood, including things such as him and his fellow children being abandoned in the woods and forced to survive on their own accord. Witness him struggle to adjust to his bionic enhancements which messed with his head… Read more
Halo Wars' narrative did that even better than Reach's, IMO. Sgt. Forge, you live on in our memories. Read more
