@Nihilexistentialist: Wow. I've been playing Halo since it's launch, but suddenly my opinion on Halo multiplayer doesn't count because I'm nearly 30 and my friends long ago gave up video games? Read more

@MissAshley42: I'm convinced that Nintendo made the system deliberately obtuse to make it undesirable to undesirables. The kind of crap one is subjected to on XBL and PSN just doesn't happen as much on Nintendo platforms. Sure, there's still room for asshattery — swastikas in Mario Kart, for example — but I've yet to… Read more
@relatively_speaking: I think you'll find it's probably more that the auteur theory doesn't fly in video games — and even if it does, Tim Schafer has demonstrated that doesn't equal sales. @SycoJack: Actually, I'm sorry I ever promoted your comment, even inadvertently. I don't want to engage with in this debate with you, because to be honest I don't want to lose any more faith in humanity. Your black and white view of the conflict ("bastard" terrorist, etc) is actually disturbing. Read more
@chewblaha: Not just that you didn't watch the video before making assumptions — and there's no way you can defend the actions of the soldiers in that video if you've watched it — but also the weird assumption that someone who makes a reference to video games cannot do so because they are Australian and they previous… Read more
